the shop. Returning client? Feel free to request a
guide, and we will do our best to take care of
it.
At Lake Erie Ultimate Angler we offer a full range of guiding
services and lessons. Just starting out? Cut the
learning curve in half by spending a full or half day with our
guides learning the basics of the sport. We also offer guided
trips for steelhead and trout throughout northwestern
Pennsylvania. If you are coming from out of town and want to
make sure that your steelhead trip is a memorable one, hook up with
us. We can provide rods and reels upon request, and will also
provide lunch and snacks, and digital pictures of your catch!

Guides:
Ray Travis: Ray is the shop manager for
Lake Erie Ultimate Angler, an Orvis product tester, fly pattern
innovator and long time guide. On a trip with Ray he is sure
to pull out a fly that you will be as impressed with as the fish
are! Ray is a blast to fish with, and the fact that most of
his clients repeat with him speaks for itself! Ray will guide
for trout down south, steelhead and smallies in the bay.
Steven Brugger: is a born and raised Erie
fishbum, and has been guiding part time for the past 9 years.
He has fished all over, and clearly has problems....He is currently
going for his Coast Guard Masters license, and by spring, pending
he actually passes, will be running fly fishing charters in the bay
off his wicked 180 Dauntless Boston Whaler (Go Sox!). Steve
guides primarily for steelhead and bass, with the occasional pike
trip thrown in.
Don Tammaro: started guiding last year and hit
it out of the park. Don has worked for Ultimate Angler since
the beginning, and he has been fishing the area since before you
were born! He is deadly with a fly rod, and going out with
him is a true pleasure. Don guides for steelhead, trout and
bass.
