The smallies are pretty much done for this season. We are on to largemouth now. Lilly pads and structure are things to focus on. Get your 8 weights and get ready to have some fun. Wade the northern shore of the bay and look for the fish. Work the dropoffs. Clouser minnows, Moal flies, bunny flies and shiner flies worked over fish or along the drops.
Also be sure to check out the conditions on Oil Creek. Flows between 200-500 are optimal. Check with Mike at Oil Creek Outfitters to see what the current hatches are. He know the creek best!
