Largemouth time
7/10/2008
Between wind, rain, and fluxuating temps, we have had an interesting spring on the bay. The fishing for Largemouth is good along the shoreline, and the are still some straggler smallies hanging out near dropoffs. Trout fishing is pretty well wrapped up except for early morning and late evening times. With the cost of gas, it is worth learing the bay now more than ever. To get started, we recommend an 8 weight rod, some poppers and a few clousers. It sure is fun to get a nice largemouth hammering poppers on top. Good luck and tight lines!
